Our Shed Dog Training Program is designed to develop a reliable shed hunting companion that can confidently locate and retrieve antlers in a variety of environments.

Building on the foundation established in our Obedience Training Program, dogs learn to use their nose to locate antlers, retrieve them properly, and deliver them directly to hand. Training includes force fetch, collar conditioning, and exposure to both real antlers and antler scent to help create a clear understanding of the task.

As dogs progress, training scenarios become more challenging, teaching them to search larger areas, work independently, and remain responsive to their handler. The goal is to develop a dog that can efficiently locate sheds while maintaining the obedience and reliability expected both in the field and at home.
